For the avid angler
Speyside in Moray is scattered with picturesque fishing villages, magnificent coast lines and meandering rivers. Its very history revolves around fishing whether salt or fresh water.
Dufftown itself is a short drive from the River Spey which is popular with anglers for salmon and trout fishing. Staying at Tullich House means you will be a 5 minute walk from the River Fiddich where you can make use of our fishing rights if you wish.
Other fishing hot spots near Tullich House include Loch Park near Drummuir, the trout fishery at Glen Rothes and the infamous River Spey.
The River Spey is recognised as one of Scotland’s premier fishing rivers and is praised for its Salmon and the water used in whisky production. The most productive part of the river for Salmon is Grantown-on-Spey which is just 28 miles from Tullich House.
